Baxters Quarter, Lewes.
Work continues on the Baxters Quarter development in the heart of Lewes. The project involved the demolition of the former Baxters Printing Works to be replaced by 54 residential properties using timber frame construction methods. There has been extensive archaeological interest throughout these works and is now coming to an end. There are five blocks in total and an underground car park as well as roof gardens on the buildings which give magnificent views over Lewes to the rolling hills of the South Downs.
